THE NEW KEYSTONE FRAME

Mr. Huff and Puff has met his match

ODL has long been a leading producer of impact-rated door glass and innovative frames. But we’re always pushing ourselves to be better.

Enter the Keystone frame.

Keystone provides even more benefits for both homeowners and professionals than our best-selling aluminum frame, and stands far above all of the competition.

Sleeker, lighter, easier to install and maintain, and certified with a design pressure of +/-60 PSF. The Keystone frame is revolutionizing the way homes in severe weather areas stand against storms. Mr. Huff and Puff has truly met his match.

STRUCTURAL PROTECTION

Understanding impact frames

To make sure that homes in areas affected by hurricanes and other severe weather are structurally sound and protected, the impact building code ensures building materials can withstand damage from high winds, torrential rain, and airborne debris.

The Keystone frame exceeds expectations for impact building code standards, ensuring your home is as secure as possible during severe weather events.
IMPROVED AESTHETICS

Looks as great as it performs

Keystone removes unsightly screw holes with a smooth, snap-on frame cover. We’ve also improved upon the aluminum frame with welded miter corners.

We’ve upgraded to a uPVC vinyl material that uses a one-step paint process for easy finishing. This material matches the look of vinyl windows for a polished home exterior. The Keystone frame is shipped with a film protector so you don’t have to worry about scratches before installation.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

For the Pros

Certified to the Highest Standard

The Keystone frame is certified to the highest standards of impact building code. It has a +/- 60 PSF rating, and is rated for High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ) and Wind-Borne Debris (WBD).

Lighter & Easier to Install

The uPVC vinyl material of Keystone makes it lighter to transport and easier to install. A co-extruded seal stops debris from collecting between the frame and the glass or door. The seal is uniquely engineered to absorb the variation in door thickness and prevent paint from seeping during finishing work.

The H-Channel design allows for seamless alignment, and improves screw engagement with aligned inner and outer frames. The H-Channel centers and cushions the insulated glass (IG) without getting in the way like glass rests do, making installation a breeze.

Keystone has a compatible profile to the ODL aluminum frame, allowing for single unit replacement without a huge overhaul, something you and your customers can appreciate.

Mess Free

Are you tired of Dow 995 making a mess in your workshop and making frame installation even more difficult?

The Keystone frame eliminates any need for you to get your hands dirty with pre-applied Dow 995 between the frame and the glass, and structural tape between the frame and the door. Simply remove the tape backing and get to work.
